Founding Partner
Corie O’Rourke (She/Her/Ella)
Corie O’Rourke (she/her/ella) is a founding partner of CK Legal, PLLC. Corie has presented on and contributed to publications on a wide range of immigration topics, including SIJS, T visas, domestic violence, and working with children. Corie co-authored the ABA Children’s Immigration Law Academy (CILA) Special Immigrant Juvenile Status Manual for Virginia Practitioners and serves on CILA’s Advisory Committee. She also serves on the Fairfax County Step Up 4 Kids Coalition and Fairfax County Council to End Domestic Violence.
Prior to founding CK Legal, Corie was the Managing Attorney of Children’s Legal Services at Ayuda, a non-profit organization that provides immigration legal services to low-income immigrants in Virginia, DC, and Maryland. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, as well as both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in International Studies from the University of Oklahoma College of International Studies. Corie began her legal career as a Gallogly Foundation Fellow at Ayuda in 2016 and later served as a Staff Attorney and Supervising Attorney before becoming a Managing Attorney.
Corie speaks English and Spanish and is licensed to practice law in Virginia and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Katie Flannery (She/Her/Ella)
Katie Flannery (she/her/ella) is a founding partner of CK Legal, PLLC. She specializes in representing immigrant survivors of human trafficking and immigrant children. She has presented locally, regionally, and nationally on immigration remedies for survivors of human trafficking and co-authored the ABA Children’s Immigration Law Academy (CILA) Special Immigrant Juvenile Status Manual for Virginia Practitioners.
Prior to founding CK Legal, Katie was a Supervising Attorney at Ayuda, a non-profit organization that provides immigration legal services to low-income immigrants in Virginia, DC, and Maryland. Throughout her legal career, Katie also worked for the UN Refugees Agency in Cairo, Egypt, as well as spending several years representing individuals seeking refugee status in Tanzania and Egypt. Katie received her B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
Katie speaks English and Spanish, and she is licensed to practice law in Virginia, Washington D.C., New York, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
